At the bottom, we only have the North Shore line. Can we have the rest of the line templates put in as well please? Thanks. Enochlau 22:28, 23 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Something about the Mortuary station perhaps? I don't know anything about it, except that I think it served Rookwood. Shermozle 17:53, Mar 7, 2005 (UTC)
A note - I made this template with the platform services with a view to putting the train destinations. Please do not add intermediate stations. Thanks. ( JROBBO 05:42, 27 December 2005 (UTC))
There seems to be argument about the name of the station. The official name of the interurban part of the station is 'Central', as is shown on all Intercity Cityrail timetables, and all modern signage inside the station. The name 'Sydney Terminal' is still referred to often, but it is not an official name, so I will revert to the previous edit on this but will note that the previous name is still often used. If you can show me that this is not the case then it will be removed. ( JROBBO 05:42, 27 December 2005 (UTC))
I know the stations appear backwards, but please don't change the table around to suit all the rest of the stations - it shows that the different lines head in different directions around the City Circle and it shouldn't' be changed. Thanks. ( JROBBO 02:35, 9 May 2006 (UTC))
Central station is the station for all students of UNSW who live beyond the Eastern Suburbs, and hence it definately deserves a mention considering the sheer volume of students that get off there. I added a point about that the other day (I believe), yet it was taken away, I shall add it again. Nebuchanezzar 02:03, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
Taking a look at this Sydway Street Directory, UNSW, USyd and Macquarie Uni all have their own suburbs, with the former two having their own post codes. Nebuchanezzar 12:36, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
Ok, I have been reading this article and Im just thinking how freaking old is it?
Platforms 27 and 28 service the City Circle and the East Hills lines respectively. I will not change it because the other platforms would face duplication aswell (of which I'm not aware of their purposes.) But can anyone change the platform information to depict the actual services that 'service' them? Orbitalwow 17:58, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
I never knew there WERE two out-of-use platforms myself...well, you learn something new everyday. Blue Mirage 10:57, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
I'm suggesting maybe the Light Rail section may have to be split off into their own article, as this article is meant to be mainly focusing on the railway station, rather than the Light Rail station. Any thoughts, suggestions, etc etc? -- Arnzy ( talk • contribs) 10:47, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
I agree. It can be in its own article like: Capitol Square MLR station, Sydney. Maybe keep a short section on the Light Rail stop with a link to Metro Light Rail. -- WikiCats 11:10, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
Created Central MLR station, Sydney. -- WikiCats 13:08, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
No - there's not enough info to sustain two separate articles. This should be kept until there's enough info on the station itself. It is, after all, a transport interchange (together with Railway Square). ( JROBBO 07:58, 27 September 2006 (UTC))
I am wondering if some details of numbers of passengers per day should be included, and if anyone knows if it is Australia's busiest station - if it is can this be mentioned. Nomadtales 01:25, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
the page indicates that two of the platforms are used as document storage, however these platforms were converted into the airport lines back in the late '90s can someone confirm this and edit —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.152.139.216 ( talk) 19:32, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
Hi there,
the s-line template didn't let me introduce a "line interchange" and I couldn't edit it to do so (hell, took me hours to understand the whole crap ;-)
If you like this, someone should alter s-line at least from
{{#ifeq:{{{line}}}|{{{{{system}}} lines|{{{line}}}}}|{{{line}}}|{{{{{system}}} lines|{{{line}}}}}}}
to
{{#ifeq:{{{line}}}|{{{{{system}}} lines|{{{line}}}}}|{{{line}}}|{{{{{system}}} lines|{{{line}}}}}}} ↔ {{#ifeq:{{{line2}}}|{{{{{system}}} lines|{{{line2}}}}}|{{{line2}}}|{{{{{system}}} lines|{{{line2}}}}}}}
(maybe the {{#ifexist:Template:{{{system}}} lines/branches
...-thing as well) and from
{{S-line/side cell|through={{{through2|}}}|state={{{state2|}}}|branch={{{branch|}}}|next={{{next|}}}|system={{{system|}}}|line={{{line|}}}|note={{{note2|}}}|type={{{type2|}}}|oneway={{{oneway2|}}}|round={{{round2|}}}|side=right}}
to
{{S-line/side cell|through={{{through2|}}}|state={{{state2|}}}|branch={{{branch|}}}|next={{{next|}}}|system={{{system|}}}|line={{{line2|}}}|note={{{note2|}}}|type={{{type2|}}}|oneway={{{oneway2|}}}|round={{{round2|}}}|side=right}}
introducing a field "line2"!
Ok, enough headache for today ... Axpde ( talk) 11:58, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, PK T(alk) 19:32, 8 April 2015 (UTC) It is covered by "Occasional services only" in the infobox or the platform list "Special event limited stops services to Olympic Park". In the Sydney Metro newsletter covering July to September 2018 it makes note that the existing (now-demolished) Platform 15 is/was not used for train service. Perhaps someone who can properly cite this and is more familiar with this station and can confirm this can add that fact. It also needs to be corrected in the infobox, as it currently says only the two existing underground platforms (24 & 25) are unused. Apparently, once the underground metro station is built, platforms 13 & 14 will be rebuilt, but it's unclear what will replace platform 15. If anyone can find that out, that'd be great. BTW, here is the website to update all of the work that's gone on for the new metro station under Central: https://www.sydneymetro.info/citysouthwest/project-overview -- Criticalthinker ( talk) 10:00, 6 October 2019 (UTC)
