Has this ever come to DVD yet? -- User:Angie Y.
I seem to remember this show being translated into several other languages and airing overseas, is that correct? CrazyC83 03:15, 21 December 2005 (UTC)
There was a parody of this made that currently resides on Ebolaword.com. Not sure where to put that.-- 64.148.56.235 20:50, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
Has anybody concidered the irony of having a kid who takes drugs getting lectured by talking chipmonks, a fuzzy alien, little blue people and a stoner ninja turtle? Wouldn't he just think he's on a really cool trip? It's like taking ecstasy and having the My Little Ponies take you to Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island... 68.48.174.136 20:36, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
Well, other than him having the "munchies" (have you SEEN the weird shit he puts on pizzas?) and the way he talks... yeah... he comes of as a stoner. Tough I doubt they could really go with any other drugs. Pot is pretty tame but what else would they go with? Coke? Heroin? That would probably be way too dark. "Watch as the kid puts a belt around his arm, injects and just sits there completly wasted while a pile of cartoobn characters gather around him and hold an intervention." 95.109.102.252 ( talk) 23:37, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
weed is not a drug. Smokiewight ( talk) 02:48, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
Herbal medicine is still medicine, aka drugs. and marijuana CAN "ruin peoples lives and wreck families" as well as be addictive. but I do agree completely about how stupid this cartoon is for only focusing on "pot". BraveStarr's episode "The Price" with the "spin" drug, "cool" drug dealer, deranged addicts, stealing money, the death of a character, and the tombstone ...was handled a lot better than Cartoon All Stars To The Rescue. In-Correct ( talk) 23:22, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
However, marijuana cannot lead to real (physical, nicotine or heroine) type of addiction and death as presented in the cartoon, so it should be seen as biased anti-pot propaganda, exploiting cartoon caracters. And funded by McDonalds. 79.175.73.88 ( talk) 08:43, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
I'm removing this until the claim is substantiated. At least two IMDB users (presumably in the U.S.) report it having been rerun, for example. They could be wrong, but so can the IMDB trivia page (or wherever else this idea may have come from). - furrykef ( Talk at me) 07:52, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
The page Cartoon all-stars to the rescue exists in addition to this one, it has substantially less information than this page but does have an information box that could be merged with this page. If someone can merge them then that page could be link to this one Quadparty 12:44, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
I don't see the need for the tags on this page. Can someone explain why they're there? CitiCat 15:26, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
Looking at the history, it said Mickey was in this special. Mickey was not, lol Ryan Holloway 00:26, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
Got rid of the big section on supervising animators, I look on IMDB and NONE of them were supervising animators on this! --Hailey 21:24, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
Why is this under the A&tC template? It wasn't "their" special, it was a multitude of cartoons, no? —Preceding unsigned comment added by snachodog ( talk) 19:34, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
Someone bolded Cartoon All-Stars' Plea in the introduction. I redirected this term to this article in case it is actually a title for this, but I can't find any source. Did someone alter the title to something that doesn't exist, or did they rename it this in some release in another country? I notice 'Plea' is also written above the image caption, despite the picture it over saying 'to the rescue'. I put the Plea title in parenthesis for now, I think the first title should be the one the article's name is. Tyciol ( talk) 20:38, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
This article says Burger King financed it, yet the 2nd external link (the review by X-Entertainment) says "a McDonald's-promoted special". Can we confirm if it was one or the other or (gasp) both? Actually, I just did, it's McDonalds, so I changed that. I'm not sure who put BK... if anyone else who's seen this wants to back me up? Tyciol ( talk) 21:58, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
I can't believe I didn't even notice this at first glance, someone vandalized this article, we need to revert the synopses. Done, but keep an eye on it, might need to lock it if it continues, this is occuring real-time. Tyciol ( talk) 22:06, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
If you ask me, the most notable thing about this film was the music contributed by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman. And if I remember correctly, this was their very last collaboration...
you mean,beauty and the beast wasn't? Smokiewight ( talk) 02:50, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
In order to find him look after Michael takes the piggy bank and shuts Corey's door. When the Smurfs comic book flips through pages, pause the film and at the right side of the comic book, a brief picture of Harmony Smurf playing his trumpet can be seen. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.26.53.243 ( talk) 23:58, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
Whoops, I meant to say the bottom left hand corner. Sorry about that.
Why do the non-U.S. releases all say "(seized)"? Trivialist ( talk) 00:42, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
Smurfette can be found on the VHS cover but she doesn't appear in the special. That makes no sense. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.104.104.85 ( talk) 21:19, 25 July 2016 (UTC)
Sony Pictures Took License For Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue with Sony Pictures Taking License For Tootuff For $1000?
It seems this awful table keeps cropping up, its filled with lies and worse of all its linked to even more LIES on IMDB, Crazyseiko ( talk) 21:46, 3 September 2023 (UTC)
