I'm trying to determine what more must be done for cleanup. I've added third-party references and revised the text to maintain a neutral point of view. I've no doubts as to the subject's notability. Jsotis76 ( talk) 16:51, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
I removed the primary sources and advert tags after the rewrite. I still question the notability of this establishment however, and there is still the obvious conflict of interest issue. Can you provide sources for the "notable patrons"? This needs to be sourced better or removed. Thank you. Wperdue ( talk) 17:01, 8 April 2009 (UTC)wperdue
Thanks for clarifying. I'm in the process of identifying a source to confirm the notable patrons. This is a well-known hotel bar that has appeared in works of literature and film, including a Hemingway novel. Furthermore, Hotel Monteleone is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, one of only three hotels in the nation with such designation. Is there anything I could do to provide further evidence of its notability? Also, could you explain how there's an obvious conflict of interest? And if the entry consists of factual statements, how does it matter? Jsotis76 ( talk) 17:12, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
Can you please advise on how to address the conflict of interest issue? This entry is unbiased and uses various references. Thanks. [[User:Tadavis20|Tadavis20]
