For many years, I have wondered why there are so many Carl Van Vechten photos on so many different articles on Wikipedia. Does anybody have an explanation? It's something you can't unsee once you notice it for the first time. I'm not complaining, as the quality of his photography is great, I just figure there must have been other people taking photos of all these famous midcentury Americans.

Additional Essays on Isadora Duncan not listed in bibliography
Two essays by Van Vechten, "Duncan Concerts in New York" and "The New Isadora," are included in Isadora Duncan (Ed. Paul Magriel, New York: Henry Holt and Company, 1947). According to the acknowledgments section of this book, both articles were originally printed in the New York Times, and "The New Isadora" appeared in The Merry-Go Round, 1918. I see no mention of Magriel's book on Van Vechten's page.
