Third-party published sources will be added during the week of October 13-20; many are available. Notability is in reference to individual being an instrumental part of The Buckinghams, then a successful duo, Tufano and Giammarese, an entirely separate career as a Chicago national client jingle singer, of which there are Wikipedia pages on other jingle singers, then a solo musical artist, and record producer, with outcome and products separate from the group The Buckinghams. Also, a biography about this musical artist (separate from The Buckinghams) is scheduled for release in 2009. Primary reason not to merge with The Buckinghams page is that additional content will reflect the career apart and separate from The Buckinghams. Former manager Carl Bonafede believes an individual page for the various members of the Buckinghams is useful to the public's historical knowledge of the group as a whole. Also as mentioned previously, Carl Giammarese is releasing a biography in 2009 co-authored by Dawn Wakefield. Wikipedia would be well-served to have a broader knowledge of the Buckinghams as one of Chicago's and the United States' most beloved musical groups of the 1960's to the present day. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jayjay331 ( talk • contribs) 17:19, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
Shouldn't the article begin with a more general identifying statement (such as, that Giammarese is an American musician or American guitarist, etc.) before launching into where he was born and went to school? I know who he is but not everyone remembers the Buckinghams or knows who Giammarese is. Any objection? - Elmarco 03:29, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
