Hi; became aware of Carey from yesterday's (jan. 7) The Province (I don't usually follow hockey....) so looked him up here, as so far no one's done an article on Anahim Lake, British Columbia and I've been planning to, someday...(if you want to start one, click on that redlink and just begin...). The photo in The Province was really good - if that wasn't a reporter's photo but from a family album or otherwise donatable to public domain, please upload it (link at left - "Upload file" below search window); tag to use would be placed at top of page and would be [[Image:FILENAME.jpg]] , and substitute the name of the file for "FILENAME.jpg". And Carey - good luck in your career, and have fun!! Skookum1 22:15, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

Hi. Because there wasn't an article yet, I just created one for Ulkatcho First Nation, which you can visit by clicking that link, and also edit and expand as you see fit, bearing in mind WP:COI applies, although in cases like this it's a given that only a member of the organization would know enough to add to the page properly. Figured I'd post this here as someone from Anahim is more likely to visit this page (e.g. Carey's mom, Chief Price) than to look up the First Nation page, which didn't exist before (I linked it in this article, too). 1. Is each fact referenced with an appropriate, reliable reference? A lot of the facts that are presented do have references. The references can be clicked on and take you to the page about that information. For example, all of the teams that Price has played on, have a reference to the teams page on Wikipedia. Another example is the awards that he has won. These references are accurate and can be trusted. Under the title Philanthropy, it states that Price donated $10,000 worth of hockey equipment to a minor hockey team in his home town. However, this information is not cited. Also, there is a table with all of Price's statistics every season with some of the statistics not being cited. Other than these two things, the article is cited excellently with reliable references.
2. Is everything in the article relevant to the article topic? Is there anything that distracted you? I think that all the information in Carey Price's Wikipedia article is relevant to the article topic. The topics discussed are his early life, playing career, international play, personal life, awards, career statistics, playing style and philanthropy. All of the information under the headings relates to the title and shares great information about Carey Price. I do not think that there is anything distracting about Price's Wikipedia page as the page flows very nice with titles and pictures. The reason that it flows so great is because it is in chronological order.
3. Is any information out of date? Is anything missing that could be added? All of the information is in chronological order. It starts with Price's early life growing up in British Columbia. The article then moves on to his junior hockey career. After this, it has information on every single season in the NHL which started in 2007 and continues until 2017. Other sections such as the awards he has received and Price representing Canada Internationally. The information under these headings is also all chronologically in order. Some information that could be added however, is some information from the current season that is ongoing. The article has stated that Price is injured the first time, but does not talk about his second injury. This injury is a concussion which should be mentioned and how it happened.

I'm not seeing the justification for "Price is widely considered as one of the best goaltenders in the world", let alone "Price is widely considered as the best goaltender in the world." That appears to be an unsourced WP:POV statement made in Wikipedia's voice. Who exactly says that he is the best, or one of the best? Yes, he was very highly ranked when he was drafted, and he has won goaltending awards. That's sourced and I have no problem with that, He has been a very good goalie, but to say that he is widely considered to be the best or even one of the best requires sources stating exactly that. Without such sources this is, at best, WP:SYNTH.
I'm removing this line. Please do not restore it without providing reliable sources. Furthermore, given his injuries and poor play last season, any such sources would have to be current or very recent sources to show that the statement is still valid. Meters ( talk) 18:14, 13 June 2018 (UTC)
