I have deleted an remark against Popular Party: "Even decades after the collapse of Franco's regime, Cara al Sol is still commonly sung by members of the Spanish far-right, including Spain’s second largest political party, Partido Popular (PP)." The way I see it, is a quite-not neutral remark. Since PP "anthem" was not and, certantly, is not "Cara al sol". Basically, is a way of calling them "falangist/fascist". -- 80.103.137.151 02:42, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
nowhere it is said that the popele singing cara ao sol "provoked ridicule". they were insulted, people didn't piss their paints laughing, it was an obvious attempt to downsize and poke the beliefs of others so i deleted it.

The article says nothing about the origins of the melody. Did the falangist committee compose the melody as well as the lyrics? If not, where does it come from? Intelligent Mr Toad ( talk) 09:16, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
Someone had translated the lyrics into Italian alongsided the English translation. I have removed this, as the English translation is to clarify the song for non-Spanish- English-speakers. The Italian translation should reside in the Italian version of this page. Beau Martinez ( talk) 08:46, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
The result of the move request was: No move. Both sides make compelling arguments about different points of the guidelines, but there is no agreement that the proposed change better accords with policy and practice. Cúchullain t/ c 15:59, 28 July 2016 (UTC)
Cara al Sol →
Cara al sol – Under Spanish rules for capitalization of the titles of literary works and songs, only the first word and proper names are capitalized. As it stands it's just plain wrong, a spelling mistake, like writing "Donald trump" would be in English.

This is from the Spanish lawyer David Maeztu. Hence I wonder if Wikipedia can publish the lyrics and its derivations, the translations. -- Error ( talk) 21:14, 24 October 2019 (UTC)
