For all the idiots out there, please stop focusing on John Price and the Modern warfare series. There were two Prices, and the Task Force 141 is NOT that important in the page. Please don't put all your attention to the Modern warfare shit, there's a price in COD and COD 2 too.
we need a new infobox picture and fast. The picture in the page sucks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 112.198.203.111 ( talk) 13:58, 25 February 2012 (UTC)
This character is a legend and every COD fans and gamers know it. It's the only character who appeared frequently in any characters in the series. And Infinity Ward owes it like a licence. I need some time and have to make some calls to improve it. Anyone can help. Godzilladude123 ( talk)Godzilladude123

Hello, In the topic Captain Price , his first appearance in the Call of Duty franchise, was in Call of Duty. Game of the year published in 2000. He being held by the Germans in a fortified camp. You as the single shooter are the one who finds him in a prison cell. Davidrstevens183 ( talk) 17:47, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
The Price in the Modern Warfare series is the original Price's grandson or son, as said on the IW page and Call of Duty wikia, I will fix the details shortly. Dontforgetthisone ( talk) 17:14, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
There is no indication that the MW Price is the grandson of the Price from the original Call of Duty on the COD wikia, and IW has not confirmed this either. See here: Price (World War II) and John Price Therefore, if this article is identifying the Prices with only a picture of the Modern Warfare Price, then all of the information with the Price in original Call of Duty should be removed, or this whole article should be deleted because of the Prices being totally two different characters in different games and are not notable enough. If the MW Price really is the grandson of the WWII Price, then provide a different source other than COD wikia or IW in your response.-- Captainmad2 ( talk) 23:31, 21 February 2014 (UTC)

I did a quick Goolge News search to be through and did find some old new paper articles about people named Captain Price but I don't think any of them would be important enough to prevent this character from being the primary topic. [ [1]]-- 70.24.207.225 ( talk) 00:17, 27 December 2011 (UTC)

Call of Duty series has two different Prices. One's the WW Price we've seen in CoD & CoD2 and another is the MW one on whom this article is written. However, the article does not mention anywhere that two such characters exist and stresses entirely on the MW Captain Price. I believe that it should be moved to Captain Price (Modern Warfare series).

In the Wikipedia article for Captain Price, it is shown that he and Nikolai are the only 2 characters to appear in all 3 games of the original Modern Warfare trilogy. This is not true, as another substantially important character: Soap MacTavish is also present in these 3 games.
I would like to rectify this error by editing the first line of the overview to correct the statement; the statement being: "Captain John Price is a fictional character in the Call of Duty series. He is the main protagonist of the Modern Warfare sub-series being one of two characters to be featured in all of the games in the sub-series, the other being Nikolai".
I would change it to "being one of 3 characters to be featured in all of the games in the sub series, the others being Nikolai and Soap MacTavish" ThaK3tra ( talk) 14:17, 23 June 2021 (UTC)
Sure he isn‘t 80 years old But, i think u have to say he is in call of duty classics call of Duty 2… Cause its the exact same design and he had like the same role 2A01:C22:8C94:AF00:907F:D7A2:2E3F:2E48 ( talk) 19:17, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
