He Got some Covarage, and was one of the founders of Pro Era a leading man on the Beast Coast Movement, and they are getting more popular everyday so i guess that makes him a relevant person in the history of the group. -- Akapa47 ( talk) 09:02, 23 October 2013 (UTC)

Please change name Jamal Dewar to Courtney E. Dewar because that is his real name and Jamal is just a name that was given to him by his sister Norris47G ( talk) 02:35, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
Reopening this request; there are several sources that say his real name is Courtney as well. http://www.thefader.com/2013/11/26/capital-steez-king-capital/#.UpVMUBxSeKM.twitter don't remember the source either but I remember reading about his sister claiming to call him Jamal due to her being his female counterpart (Jamelia). I've also found an obituary for a Courtney E. Dewar a day before Capital Steez's reported death day (which can be objected) and there is no obituaries for a "Jamal Dewar" http://www.meaningfulfunerals.net/fh/obituaries/obituary.cfm?o_id=1894918&fh_id=12475.

dont know where to put this, but i think i read somewhere that steez died on the night of the 23rd at 11:43pm — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.2.193.168 ( talk) 10:13, 30 December 2013 (UTC)
I'm proposing this because people keep editing the 'years active' section in the article. This has become an annoyance and a small edit war of sorts has ensued. Most of these edits have come from users who are logging in and editing via I.P. address. They are entirely unconstructive edits which contribute nothing to the article. I believe if we established a sort of barrier to stop just anyone from editing it, it would solve some of these problems we've been having and would make it harder for people to vandalize it.
(P.S: For those Wikipedians who don't fathom why people are doing this, it is only to pay respects to the late Capital Steez, but it's pretty annoying, no doubt.) Thdegy ( talk) 02:54, 8 September 2015 (UTC)Thdegy
