The opening section is rather confusing. It refers to the introduction of this moth to areas outside its native habitat, and says that the moth is an invasive species. This is rather confusing. In some places, Australia in particular, this moth is regarded as heroic ( because its introduction got rid of a much worse invasive species), while in other places, such as the southern US, its a villain. While copyediting, I noticed several instances where things are described as "current" or "recent". Examples:
