Everyone, please please take a little bit more effort with the citations, add a date, author if present, agency, any other relevant details etc. This may seem like a waste of time BUT IT IS NOT. And if everyone does there own citation, we won't have a pile up of hundreds of terribly formatted citations at the end. Thank you. DTM ( talk) 12:32, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

The orange graph showing cumulative cases was simple and efficient, but has been shifted to the timeline page which I can understand. But the existing table for cases by state is too long and difficult to interpret at first look, and is only going to grow longer. Could we keep the orange graph on this page too?
Edit: It also looks like the entire timeline page was just cut and pasted hastily on the new page. We should have a brief timeline page present here, and possibly the orange graph too. Thundermage117 ( talk) 13:52, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

Following lines should be added in Discrimination section:
Muslim gatherings organised by the Tablighi Jamaat has resulted in large increased of cases in India, which has triggered Islamophobic reactions and increased communal tension. [1] [2] [3] Islamophobic hashtags began circulating shortly after the news broke in late March. [4] Videos falsely claiming to show members of the missionary group spitting on police and others quickly went viral on social media. [5] [6] A tribal boy in Jharkhand was killed over a clash over such rumours. [7] In North West Delhi, a mob attacked a Muslim man and told him to renounce Islam as they believed that he was part of a so-called Islamic conspiracy to spread coronavirus. [8]
Some patients, in different quarantine facilities of Uttar Pradesh, refused to eat food because the cooks in these facilities were Dalits. [9] [10]

I suggest to change the color of pandemic cases from 500–999 confirmed cases 100–499 confirmed cases because these two colors schemes are too similar to understand difference which state have 100 confirmed cases and which one have 500.it will be easier to understand this map for readers. Proposal to move the this template from the main page. The table is very large as of now and will only grow in the coming days, this creates clutter and confusion on the page. It could instead be hyperlinked as a source under this template like here and here on the pages for the United States and Pakistan. — Shawnqual ( talk) 08:56, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

SaiP,you have deleted my section during your previous update, while I have not contributed on this page much, It's not allowed to remove any user's section on the talk page unless clarified thereby violating WP:TPO. Please clarify before permanently removing my section.
Done I have added templete for that graph under timeline section, as i agree it is useful in main article for summarizing. And the short summary for the Timeline section here is to be added soon. - @

Good to see March has a new subpage now. However the current March section does not look good. It should be either the last five days, which highlights the most recent information, or it should be in a couple of paragraphs narrating the March story. Food for thought, perhaps? -- Titodutta ( talk) 16:54, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

There were rumors that some Muslims who returned from Dubai refused to undergo coronavirus testing for religious reasons. The news was then amplified by bloggers and some some social media channels, but it was later debunked and confirmed to be false. [1]

Following line can be added in Misinformation section
Misinformation that the government is spreading "anti-corona" drug in the country during Janata curfew, a stay-at-home curfew enforced in India, went viral on social media. [1] Misinformation that clapping together during Janata curfew will kill the virus was debunked by the media. [2] One viral message says that the lifetime of coronavirus is only 12 hours and staying home for 14 hours during Janata curfew break the chain of transmission. [3] Another message claimed that observing Janata curfew will result in the reduction of coronavirus cases by 40%. [3]

I think this should be added somewhere in the article: On 23 March 2020, the Greater Chennai Corporation began disinfection across bus stands, bus shelters, market areas, benches, and other crowded areas of Chennai as an effort to contain the coronavirus. In the Koyambedu area, garbage was removed from a market. The civic body announced that disinfection will begin on 3,800 ATM machines. [1] Kabutops7 ( talk) 21:46, 22 March 2020 (UTC)

There are now dozens of companies that have contributed 100 crore to this fund. It would be silly to go on naming all of them on this article.

And if you totally change the color of this map from red to Brown it will be great. Kundan Ravindra Dhayade ( talk) 08:52, 10 April 2020 (UTC)

It is not specifically an edit request but just a suggestion. Right now, there is a combined section for Misinformation and Discrimination. There should be separate sections for both as both are completely unrelated. Jasksingh ( talk) 13:54, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
I guess this article qualifies for a sub-section specifically on Tablighi Jamaat. There's a lot of news stories directly related to the cases being reported which are related to the event and attendees. Some of them are [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] and thousands more.
