It should be clarified here that the isonisation of gas and following aerosol formation induced by particle radiation really is nothing spectacularly new. The principles have been around for a very long time. Actually Wilson's cloud chamber this year celebrates its 100th birthday. Buntrabe 10:16, 29 September 2011 (CET)
