I think "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly" has buddy film elements. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.178.219.128 ( talk • contribs) 11:06, 19 March 2005 (UTC)
I think Men in Black and its sequel are buddy cop films. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.21.154.116 ( talk • contribs) 16:19, 22 October 2005 (UTC)
Right now Buddy film forwards here. I think it makes more sense to have buddy film be the name of the article while buddy cop film be a subset of that article. This makes it a little easier to incorporate many other works of film or television without deriving from the article title. So I'm putting my vote in, what do others think?-- Will2k 16:28, July 13, 2005 (UTC)
I was just wondering if anybody could help me. I've been searching for a genre of music i've only been able to hear in buddy cop flicks. I'm not sure if it was a buddy cop movie or just a cop movie or what. But it's a type of rock music with guitars holding long notes, almost like crying, soft to no-drums, no vocals. It's usually behind people talking, or finding out trouble is afoot...ring a bell to anybody? browneyedblues404@yahoo.com get at me plz — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.75.87.6 ( talk • contribs) 04:00, 28 November 2005 (UTC)
I Spy is mentioned, and it isn't about cops (although this is pointed out). While I agree that it does follow the "buddy cop" formula, so does Men in Black and The Green Hornet. I propose these movies be added, or I Spy be eliminated. Men in Black are alien cops and Green Hornet and Kato are vigilantes (volunteer cops almost). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.82.64.144 ( talk • contribs) 21:34, 14 August 2011 (UTC)
