Horses come from the "Old World". Puma concolor is an American species. So the evolution of horses had nothing to do with mountain lions aka cougars, right? 62.216.112.195 ( talk) 22:35, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

The lead was reworded and new information was added, along with citations. The first paragraph about reasons for bucking was reworded and new, relevant information along with citations were added. New information and rewording was induced in the Solutions paragraph. Citations were also added to this paragraph. The last paragraph on consequences was removed due to a lack of support from other sources. It was also slightly opinion based and I was not able to find literature to support it.
Rewording, new up to date information, along with citations were the 3 main things I added to the article. Acp741 ( talk) 16:25, 17 November 2019 (UTC)acp741
