On Cameos vs. Bit-parts
Is there a difference between a cameo and a bit-part. I feel a cameo suggests that a relatively well-known actor is showing up in a movie in a role that is of less significance than his contemporary star-power might garner. Whereas bit-part is a early role for an actor who later played parts in entertainments which were seen on a larger scale, or which featured that actor much more prominently. Any thoughts? So here, I would say David Hyde Pierce has a bit-part, not necessarily a cameo.
Some lay commentators (citation needed) claim that BLBC is a sequel to SOMS. BLBC is merely the protagonist's downward slide from SOMS. Is this true? 80.41.161.171 ( talk) 23:22, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
