This page describes box86 as being better than QEMU by only emulating the guest program, not a whole guest OS. However QEMU also supports this mode of operation ("user-mode emulation"). QEMU also supports dynamic binary translation, though I'm not sure if it can intercept and translate calls to dynamically loaded libraries. (Hangover is able to do this though, when used with QEMU to run windows software) More detail on what separates box86 from QEMU would probably be beneficial here. 104.158.234.106 ( talk) 08:31, 14 September 2021 (UTC) reply
