I just deleted a handful of external links promoting certain boutiques and a blog, none of which were relevant to the article. Jedidiah ( talk) 17:35, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
It's not clear from the article what type of boutique a "concept store" actually is, but given that a couple of sources appear to support its usage, we should probably just merge it here, as a one-sentence explanation of the term. Any thoughts? -- McGeddon ( talk) 15:13, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
1) mix up different sortiments within one store, often in unusual combinations (e.g. food and fashion, working tools and art...) 2) the sortiments are not presented in particular departments but alltogether in one store 3) don't deal with fashion only as boutiques do 4) the customer's experience is the target, not just providing goods to buy 5) there's no classical price-strategy: what matches the sortiment, is good. 5) the locations are mostly in b-areas, e.g. former not-retail locations such as industrial lofts etc.
I was hoping, my article already explained that clear enough. I was planning to add more info later (no external links ;-)), but that work would be senseless if you don't let the article exist. And: whats wrong about it? It would just deliver the right view to this particular topic, as CCs are NO boutiques. -- Axkey ( talk) 17:11, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
Normally a small exclusive winery or 'garage winery' where grapes are bought in: but in either case, production normally does not exceed 300 or so cases. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrew Dicks ( talk • contribs) 12:47, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
To make it easy to find my justification, I'll copy my edit comment on the "POV Statement" template I just attached to the words, "the East of London has been regenerated":
