Agree with proposal, sensible to merge Istana Bogor, Bogor into Istana Bogor. Curiously enough, both articles were created on the same day by the same IP, and contain much the same text.-- cjllw | TALK 21:55, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
I've now gone ahead with the merge, since there was nothing unique in the former article, which now redirects to here.-- cjllw | TALK 05:16, 10 January 2006 (UTC)
u might want to check out istana bogor - indonesian version (wiki indonesia), maybe you want to add some picture. just a thought 169.252.4.21 09:46, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
Shouldn't this article be called "Bogor Palace" seeing as this is English Wikipedia? If nobody objects, I'll move it. After all, the Eiffel Tower article is not called "Tour Eiffel". Davidelit ( talk) 18:00, 10 September 2009 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: No consensus to move. Limited discussion after two relistings and no support expressed for move rationale. ( non-admin closure) Shadow007 ( talk) 02:06, 15 March 2018 (UTC)
The term "Istana" is usually left untranslated in academic publications in English. This also seems to be the case with other similar wikipedia articles:
I would like to draw your attention to Schloss Esterházy and Schloss Allner, articles which use the German term 'schloss' instead of 'castle' or 'palace'.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Indoarchitect ( talk • contribs) 12:23, 21 February 2018 (UTC)--Relisting.
