I normally wouldn't add a red-linked item to a dablist, but since the Beth Israel Synagogue is on the List of Registered Historic Places in Cambridge, Massachusetts it should, and no doubt someday will, have its own article. Jayjg (talk) 04:01, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
OK, I am intrigued - what links all the 'Beth Israel' items apart from name? Does it have a particular meaning or connotation (moderate/philanthrpic etc. I have no idea, but I then again as a goy I can be excused I guess....Cheers, Casliber ( talk · contribs) 09:04, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
I notice many entries are not links to wikipedia pages (as either bluelinks or redlinks), but rather are external links. This does not conform to wp:MOSDAB guidelines. All the external-link-only ones could be removed; there is no need for disambiguation of them. And, the notability of these is not apparent or asserted, so there's no support for retaining red-links for them either, I believe.
By the way, I visited here to fix up the NRHP ones (to ensure they're covered, and to provide one bluelink per NRHP entry). If there is no article yet, I provide a bluelink to an article that does refer to the place. NRHP ones' notability is established by their being NRHP-listed, hence extensive verifiable documentation is available.
Depending on any discussion here, i may go ahead and remove the external-link-only entries. doncram ( talk) 09:59, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
I wonder if this wouldn't be better as purely a list of synagogues? The other non-temple entries would be moved to
Beth Israel (disambiguation), and this would serve as just a {{
synagogue disambiguation}}
(possibly as
Beth Israel Synagogue
(disambiguation) ) or {{
set index article}} page --
