The Harlem dancehall Rockland Palace hosted a benefit for Davis on September 26, 1952. It was noteworthy in that the performer was jazz great Charlie Parker. Variously released amateur recordings of this live performance are among Parker's finest recorded live dates, albeit of low fidelity. [1] [2] [3]
I don't know if this is worth a mention in the article, so I'm just leaving it in the Talk page.
