Barry Jenkins (director) →
Barry Jenkins – Per both facets of
WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Although some could say "recentism", this Jenkins has directed a Best Picture winner and won an Oscar himself. The other Barry Jenkins was the drummer of a band for two years, and his notability is eclipsed by the band's other much
more well-known drummer who has been in the group far longer than he was. That's already more long-term significance for the filmmaker. And I really don't see a scenario where the director's pageviews lag beneath the drummer's (who was only getting around 20/30 a day before this Jenkins was prominent).
