- To use the term "Australian Football" is not to universally imply AFL.
- Australian Football is the official name of Australian rules football. This is a noun, not an adjective. It is a joke to suggest otherwise. It the equivalent of redirecting " Australian Crawl" to a page which says "crawling by Australians" or "Australians that crawl" with a disambiguation link to the article. - Rulesfan I think you have a point. My earlier edits to the page were meant to provide a neutral disambiguation page which balanced the needs of Australian rules football, association football/soccer and other codes, but now I realise that this purpose is better served by Football in Australia. Currently this page only serves as a duplicate disambiguation page, which requires one click to reach both Australian rules football and the more useful disambiguation page, Football in Australia. Because of this I am changing this page to a redirect to reflect its primary meaning, which is Australian rules football. The Football in Australia page can still be reached in one click from there.
