Please review guidelines for biographies of living people at WP:LIVING. This article needs references listed to support the information here. Please locate some and make sure to put the information here to support this article. C. Williams ( talk) 02:37, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
It is unclear as to whether the subject of this biography is notable. The article states that the subject is a "political and civil rights activist", but the article does not appear to indicate why--and, for that matter, it cites no references and it appears to include original research. Other than a biography on the entertainment commission site (does a bio posted there meet Wikipedia verifiability standards?), there are seemingly no second or third-party sources visible in the top 50 search engine results for the subject's name. Can the original author clarify how the subject meets the notability guidelines as well as substantiate the research provided here? Doughnut4020 06:35, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
Thanks to Benjiboi for cleaning up some of the recent edits to this article. I noticed that some of those recent changes related to the prominence of certain venues still require citations, so I restored one fact tag and added a new one for a recent edit. Can you please add your citations for those or adjust your edits accordingly? Thanks! Doughnut4020 ( talk) 02:23, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
