Either blm needs to be removed from this page, or links to black separatism/ black power etc need to be added. Without which this page serves as pov by omission. Unwokengarvey ( talk) 22:57, 31 July 2023 (UTC)
This article is entirely about the history of opposition to racism, which has gone under a number of different terms over time. It seems that only recently has "anti-racism" become a distinct label for an ideology and movement. This article fails to provide any history of the use of the term "anti racism" or to explain where it originated and how it differs from previous movements in opposition to racism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.6.0.156 ( talk) 02:38, 8 September 2023 (UTC)
a range of ideas and political actionsas described in the lead sentence, not a distinct movement. The term "anti-racism" has been in academic use as far back as 1975 regarding opposition to racism going back to the colonial era in the US. — Sangdeboeuf ( talk) 00:58, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
This is the first line on the "history" page, yet there is no context in either the "European racism" link or in the article on what pre-1492 European racism was. Good arguments have been made that our current racial concepts and prejudices sprung from New World colonialism, and European racial prejudice from before that time was drastically different, something someone who is new to this field of study may not know about. For that reason I added the context tag. - FelineHerder ( talk) 11:11, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
