@ Mmbeenen

1)

".. She was (one of) the first Dutch woman speed skater who became notable .."

Sport in the Netherlands#Speed skating says first speed skating competition for women was held in 1805. If that is correct - take into consideration Beenen's birth itself is of 1853 + after 16 years of age she participated, i.e. in 1869 roughly after 64 years after first women's competition. So calling Beenen as '(one of) the first Dutch woman speed skater' looks odd even bit misleading.

I suggest reconsider above sentence some thing like:

".. While Trijntje Pieters Westra and Trijntje Reidinga were first generation Dutch women speed skaters from first half of nineteenth century; Beenen was among notable Dutch woman speed skater in second half of nineteenth century. .."

2) started with skating in her hometown where she lived.
Name the specific city name if available.
3) She registered together with her brothers, Hendrik and Jan, for a major competition in Groningen.
Mention year date if available
4) Jouke Schaap (1846-1923) won the men's competition that day.
Mention year date if available
5)

".. Jouke Schaap rode with IJmkje Veldman from Uitwellingerga and finished second in Heerenveen. They would become one of the best couples and competed about ten years until 1881, and won many prizes; not only in Friesland but also in North Holland, South Holland and Groningen. Especially in their first winter of 1870-71 they were very successful, and won among others the second prize in Bolsward, 1st prize in Heerenveen (3 January 1871, f 150) and the first prize in Amsterdam (31 January 1871, f 150). ..

Who /what is IJmkje Veldman  ? what is the connection with this article?

  • You have added 3 in other references. For those you have used in the article use "Bibliography" as section heading, and references not yet used in the article give "Further reading" as section heading.
  • I do not know exact WP:MOS for infobox, but Langezwaag Netherlands need not be red link. Make separate internal links to both words [[Langezwaag]], [[Netherlands]] or [[Langezwaag|Langezwaag, Netherlands]] to make it blue. Bookku ( talk) 12:41, 29 July 2024 (UTC) reply
Good notions, fixed those too still. Thanks! Mmbeenen ( talk) 13:00, 29 July 2024 (UTC) reply
Compliments it seems your article has been accepted in main article space.
    • "She became well known in couple competitions
I do not know if Pair skating is right article to link to the words couple competitions. I suggest you read the article Pair skating and then decide whether to link the same to wording couple competitions or not. Happy editing Bookku ( talk) 13:48, 29 July 2024 (UTC) reply
Thank you and thanks for the great help!

Good point, pair skating is probably confused with figure skating. It seems speed skating in pairs or pair speed skating could be the correct way to write it: https://www.nbcolympics.com/news/speed-skating-101-competition-format. Mmbeenen ( talk) 16:09, 29 July 2024 (UTC) reply
