Is it right that she mainly writes about Jewish characters? Which books?

Having read Hotel du Lac, I cannot confirm this information. In this novel, there is no mention of Jews or Jewish traditions. What she does describe in great detail is the life of bourgeois women. PS: After some web searching, I can confirm that the author is considered an important contributor to Jewish culture in the UK. One book of hers that is very likely to contain Jewish characters is Latecomers. -- Thüringer ☼ 15:36, 16 May 2005 (UTC) reply
