" Moog pronounced /ˈmoʊɡ/ to rhyme with "vogue") "
I'm unfamiliar with IPA, but that looks to me like it has a "drawl" in it, a long diphthong. Is that meant to be how Moog is pronounced in Dallas, or how it's pronounced in his hometown? I suspect the former; Canuck-ish I think would be /'mo:g / or some other shorter vowel......

No, the name really is pronounced to rhyme with "vogue". I am the same age as Andy, grew up with him, went to school with him in Penticton, BC. There was never any question as to the pronunciation of his name.
