Amyloid, dextrinoid, and hemiamyloid reactions really are a set of related reactions using similar reagents. The articles should be merged and everything discussed in one place. The merged article contains a great deal of detail about the hemiamyloid reaction and can be regarded as reasonably complete, but the section on standard amyloid vs dextrinoid reactions should be expanded. Much of the section
Melzer's_reagent#Reactions could be merged into this article as well, leaving a shorter outline of Melzer's reagent reactions in that article.
