I'm not sure why we need a separate article for this particular brand of ginseng extract. Examples of much more celebrated drug brands which have no article here and which are redirects to their respective active ingredient are
Valium,
Panadol and
Nurofen.

It seems like merging is an attempt by medical editors (not sure if you're a medical editor JLAN, but Doc James has been editing here) to get rid of a headache by foisting it off on plant editors. What is the purpose of the Cold-fX article? A place for the manufacturers to spam? If that's the case, delete it out right. A place to warn consumers about the product? The warning will be far more visible if it's kept as a stand alone article, rather than buried deep within this article.
I don't think it's appropriate to include any more content about Cold-fX than what is already in the article. I also don't think it would be appropriate to create redirects from other ginseng derived products to this article.
