Miss America (America Chavez) → America Chavez – The "Miss America" name has long been abandoned, and at least since the Ultimates the character is named simply "America Chavez" at all the comics where she appears. Including the most recent one, named "America Chavez: Made in the USA". Yes, the name is the title of a solo comic book starred by her. The character has a public identity and, like Luke Cage and Jessica Jones, her legal name is her defacto "superhero name", regardless of older ones. Cambalachero ( talk) 18:38, 5 March 2021 (UTC)

Miss America (America Chavez) → America Chavez – It's only been nine months since the last request, but it's very clear to me that the rationale for opposition is gone. Marvel now heads its character page [1] with just the name "America", with "Miss America" used only in reference to "formerly known as Miss America." The character hasn't used that nickname since leaving the Teen Brigade in 2013. She has been in six series (Young Avengers, A-Force, Ultimates, America, West Coast Avengers, and America Chavez: Made in the USA) using only her given name—and two of those series are named after her given name. If Marvel wanted to continue with the Miss America name, they would use it in the upcoming movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, yet all marketing [2] for that film uses only the name "America Chavez." This is like calling Kitty Pryde "Sprite (Kitty Pryde)"; it's a first-use name, but not one that stuck. Time to change it, says me.-- Mike Selinker ( talk) 20:07, 25 December 2021 (UTC)
