I'm moving this here since it seems like it might be true but isn't written well and is unsourced. If anyone can find some good info on Semin's off-ice life, feel free to work on it. — Muéro( talk/ c) 06:26, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
Should his nickname, "Sasha" be included here? I saw that Evgeni Malkin's page has his nickname on it, so I was wondering... Colorofmagic ( talk) 18:41, 28 January 2011 (UTC)Colorofmagic
Do you have reliable sources? ccwaters ( talk) 18:56, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
Apparently his pronanuciation and spelling is SYOMIN and not SEMIN, which looks like its just a mistake from the NHL. As we can see on his jersey during the 2012 IIHF World Championship and on the official website of the IIHF (including on the official TV broadcasts), he is known as Syomin. [1] & [2].
