This page seems to be more a dictionary definition than a dab. Therefore, I'm making it a dab, and have pasted the previos information here, for if anyone wants to/knows how to make this a Wiktionary definition.

Air sac is an anatomical term with several meanings:
- Pulmonary alveolus, informally known as an air sac, one of innumerable spherical outcroppings of the respiratory bronchioles in the mammalian lung, the secondary sites of gas exchange with the blood
