I removed the text {{reporting mark|ADIR}} from the article. This railroad actually has two reporting marks, one for the preservation society and one for the operating railroad, neither of which I'm pretty sure are 'ADIR.' I'll look these up when I have a chance. n2xjk 20:50, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
OK, found them. The Adirondack Railway Preservation Society is ADIX and the Adirondack Scenic Railroad is ADCX. n2xjk 21:16, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

JB82, I see that you added a route map to the infobox here. But you left the text version in the body of the article. I think it should be deleted (the text version). Comments? MB 04:03, 26 July 2017 (UTC)
There was no “New York Central” Railroad until 1913, when it was created and absorbed the NYC & HR RR. No one other than the NYC & HR RR owned the Mohawk and Malone line until 1913. Get your facts straight, stop deleting my accurate corrections, and read a few books on NYC RR history sometime (I own over 30 volumes). 2600:1004:B11C:9276:B8D6:2D6C:486D:D84E ( talk) 20:32, 17 December 2021 (UTC)
Track removal completed 11/21 from Tupper Lake to Lake Placid = NOT “being removed” (which I wrote in an earlier edit). What is your problem with fact updates? Talk about “vandalism”! GET A LIFE! 2600:1004:B11C:9276:B8D6:2D6C:486D:D84E ( talk) 23:24, 17 December 2021 (UTC)
Tracks have been removed, not “are being removed”! Stop changing my factual updates to outdated items. Check the facts and stop this vandalism! 2600:1004:B12D:1652:7C47:1F1F:7CB9:8B5 ( talk) 19:47, 26 December 2021 (UTC)
I looked up the actual 8-mile distance, with source, You put it back to “short”. Stop your vandalism of the facts! 2600:1004:B12D:1652:7C47:1F1F:7CB9:8B5 ( talk) 19:50, 26 December 2021 (UTC)
One “Blue Riband” just reverted my accurate updates, with sources. RQ reinstatement of my edits and arbitration ASAP. 2600:1004:B12D:1652:7C47:1F1F:7CB9:8B5 ( talk) 23:33, 26 December 2021 (UTC)
