Why is the AAALAC in the animal rights category? It serves specifically as a regulator of animal welfare. -- Animalresearcher 15:22, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
I would li to see some text on the relationship of AALAC (as a regulator) to the 3Rs (reduce, refine, replace). Does AALAC have a mechanism in IACUCs for nudging researchers to consider 'stretching' their research imaginations to explore the potential (even if it is limited) of knowledge production through a replacement methodology (and why in vitro research methods are inadequate for specific knowledge production goals)? Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care International → AAALAC International – In 2016, the organization changed its name to no longer be an acronym. The organization's explanation of their new name can be found at https://www.aaalac.org/about/history/long-version/).text. Mousedoc98 ( talk) 17:57, 29 April 2024 (UTC)
