Trey DePriest, a linebacker who started in 13 of 14 games last year missed the spring practice season with a foot stress fracture. [1] Another linebacker that started in games last season, Xzavier Dickson, missed some spring practices and scrimmages due to a sore knee. [1] In their place in the starting team line up and stat book were Tana Patrick (Senior) and Denzel Devall (Sophomore). Devall played in all 14 games in 2012 as a true freshman and earned freshman all-america honors from Sporting News. [2] [2]
