There are significant discrepancies in the supporting web pages, reporting on the nominations and categories of this 2006 Scream Awards event. For example: -
1) CATEGORIES - The categories of "Fantasy Fox", "Most Anticipated Movie", "Best Internet Parody", "Rutherless Filmmaker", "Best Ensemble", and "Sexiest Superhero" are only mentioned on the 'winners' websites, sometimes only on IMDb. As a result, these categories only have entries containing the winners, with no nominees mentioned. An addition prolbem is that IMDb has numerous mistakes, making it hard to trust.
2) DISCREPANCIES - Depending which web page you look at, it is either "
Land of the Dead" or "
The Hills Have Eyes", which was nominated for "Best Sequel". I have opted for "Land of the Dead", due to IMDb being more unreliable in this instance. The same goes for the nominations for "
See No Evil" for "Best Horror" and "Ultimate Scream", which are not mentioned in the main web page source. This also includes the nomination for
Hugo Weaving for the award category of "Most Heroic Performance", which is not mentioned on the main 'nominations' website.
My edits fixed some of the problems. However, I would advocate that more citations are needed, as well as more research. SMargan ( talk) 08:09, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
