England lost in the head-to-head match with Ireland 20-14, which would, in the tie-breaking rules of most other sporting events, give Ireland first place over England. However, in this case, England was awarded first place. It would be interesting to add to this article with an explanation of how ties are broken in the table. Is it Points Difference, for example?
