The correct spelling in Klingon is ’u’, not ’U’. Several media sources report it correctly, as does the opera's official website. Even more importantly, the Klingon Dictionary ( ISBN 0-671-74559-X) indicates that the spelling is ’u’. There is no such letter as a capital U in Klingon; the letter u is always small case. My recent additions were based on the official 2010 Zeebelt handout. Containing the full cast and crew list and the scene list and summary. SpeakFree ( talk) 18:46, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
It's usual for cast lists for operas to bring the voice type for each character. So you should include if each part was written for a soprano, tenor, baritone, etc. 177.16.151.185 ( talk) 04:21, 8 January 2013 (UTC)

He could have put a bit more research into the name of his book - c isn't a letter in Klingon except part of the digraph ch; you can't have three consonants in a row unless the first two are one of rgh w' y'; and you can't just mash words together in Klingon any more than you can write "the perfectscreambook" in English. (We don't even know a word for "scream" the noun in Klingon, for that matter.)
I'd suggest something like jachchu'meH paq "book for screaming perfectly". Or if we did have a noun "scream" (say *jach), then maybe something like *jach pup paq "book of the perfect scream" (*jach "scream" (hypothetically), pup "perfect, exact", paq "book"). Though TBH I'm not sure whether you can have noun–noun constructions with an intervening adjective (though demonstrative and possessive suffixes on the first element are clearly fine). -- pne (talk) 07:16, 30 August 2011 (UTC)

I'm translating this article into Czech now for Czech Wikipedia and I see that there is written that premiere took place on 10 September 2010. However different sources are giving different claims about this:
Article also mentions the reference "Time magazine, 13 September 2010, p. 17" but I don't have this magazine so I can't check this. I appologize for possible mistakes, English is not my native language -- Loupeznik ( talk) 19:43, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
I'm putting all the Klingon words, including the name of the opera, in typewriter font – see Klingon language#Writing systems – and transcluding Template:Tt-Klingon at the top of the page. Exceptions: the article title itself; headlines in Terran-language publications, as cited in references; the planet name Qo'noS. -- Thnidu ( talk) 05:44, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
