Speed is irrelevant here. What goes on is that the diameter symbol ⌀ is also used for (any kind of) average. This is common in central Europe (see e.g.
[3]), but not so much in English-language sources.—

Agreed on PRIMARYTOPIC and putting the link at the front. I'm not sure about the odd-looking quotes (angle brackets?). Often single letters will be quoted so the reader knows we're discussing the letter, not using it in a sentence; but how many people are familiar with this quoting style?

Yes, never seen it before on a dab. As so many editors kept this version, I thought I was missing something. I implemented the latter before (link above for how it looks), so desirable to get consensus so it sticks? Widefox;

This isn't about the correct use of angle brackets per se in an article, that's no doubt more clear to you than me, but dabs are only navigational aids and I suppose can be thought of as boiled down. Yes we follow style, but within reason - we have nested templates here! How can we try to avoid templates/complexity? So the question is can we get away without using them? What do other dabs do? We have a similar issue with math characters. Widefox;

As far as I'm concerned, use of the angle brackets here is pedantic (they are important in technical discussions to make distinctions) and it would be helpful to the general reader if they were totally eliminated. If that's what you're talking about, I agree.

Where Why are there three links to disambiguation pages in the See Also section? Two of them aren't even real, they are redirects to non-disambiguation pages.

It doesn't make sense to me. (1) "Null sign (disambiguation)" redirects to "Null sign" (without "disambiguation"). (2) I wasn't aware of the null sign meaning "disambiguation", but putting it under "See also" does not tell me that it does. Why not put it in its proper place?

Changed to Null symbol (disambiguation).
User:TomS TDotO There's discussion of it meaning disambiguation here->
Talk:Ø (Disambiguation) (see EXT link interview), but because it's not very authoritative and a quick look in wiktionary and WP didn't find anything, I thought See also was appropriate (there's many similar looking symbols so it may be in fact be in one of those). If nobody objects I'll put back in? Widefox;
talk18:51, 18 November 2015 (UTC)reply
I guess I don't have a strong objection, but it seems confusing because there is nothing on either this page or at the target page about this meaning.

2. agree is a bit tangential (it explains why we have an album title similar to a dab page title).
User:TomS TDotO I only now saw that I'm having to clean this a second time because of your edit
[5]. Pls can you familiarise yourself with
WP:MOSDAB before editing dabs. Widefox;
