I don't think this is actually true. It has not been reported on any major news site, www.cnn.com, www.bbc.com or www.reuters.com. Fabrication. Norum 07 Feb 2007
This page is a nonsense for an ecyclopedia, it is just a normal person like you and me that died. It happens that she was the sister of the princess, but she had no previous public life before she dead, and there have not been political impact either. Wikinews is a good place for this kind of ephemeral news content. Barcex 11:47, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
Erika was the Letizia's sister. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Stranger23 ( talk • contribs) 15:23, 10 February 2007 (UTC).
You know, there is an article for Tessy Antony, who was the girlfriend, and is now the wife of Prince Louis of Luxembourg. She's not really that notable either, and I don't think there were as many google news articles on the day they married, yet Erika, 'because she is the younger sister of the Princess of Asturias, recieved many hits, including news sources in the US, and I believe, CNN. I think that solely the fact that her sister was a princess, and the matter in which she died, as well as the attention she recieved post-mortem, and the actual size of this article already, merits a keep. That an article for a non-notable person exits, it doesn't means an article for another has to exist too. The hits were only on the day she died, and she is no longer news even here in Spain. The size of the article doesn't matter if the subject matter is non-notable. And she isn't. -- Andromeda 19:47, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Don't waste yourselves arguing about deletion. You may keep the article separated on its own if that "notability" shit is so important for you. If you decide to not give her her own article, who cares if she was not notable, just insert it and merge it with her "notable" sister princess article and all matters settled.-- dalegrett 16:03, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
