Again, I am clarifying the difference between email and messaging --- otherwise, we will be supporting the confusion that is taking place between TXT messaging and EMAIL in current events. EMAIL is not IM, or chat. It is asynchronous.

As the developer of EMAIL in 1980, and now a faculty member at MIT, I believe it is VERY important to clarify the definition of EMAIL. Text messaging is not EMAIL. Those were pre-cursors. Thank you.

talk). The USPTO did not allow software patents. I was issued the Copyright for EMAIL. MIT reported on this in 1981. It is VERY notable.
