Saviečiai (formerly Russian: Савечаны, Polish: Saweczany, Sawieczany) [1] is a village in Kėdainiai district municipality, in Kaunas County, in central Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, the village had a population of 141 people. [2] It is located 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) from Vandžiogala, by the Mėkla river, alongside the A8 highway. There is a cemetery.
In the beginning of the 20th century Saviečiai was an okolica. [1]
During the Soviet era, Saviečiai was subsidiary settlement of the "Spike" kolkhoz. [3]
