Ramjin Rural District ( Persian: دهستان رامجين) is in Ramjin District of Chaharbagh County, Alborz province, Iran. [3] Its capital is the village of Ramjin. [4]
At the census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Chaharbagh District of Savojbolagh County, Tehran province) was 16,960 in 4,294 households. [5] In the most recent census of 2016, it had increased to 23,348 in 7,347 households, by which time the county had become a part of the newly established Alborz province. [6] The most populous of its 23 villages was Lashkarabad, with 7,198 people. [2]
In September 2019, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Chaharbagh County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Chaharbagh as its capital and only city. [3]
