Qarah Aghaj ( Persian: قره اغاج) [a] is a village in, and the capital of, Baranduzchay-ye Shomali Rural District of the Central District of Urmia County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran. [4]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,554 in 413 households. [5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,246 people in 411 households. [6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,505 people in 492 households. [2]
