Bakeshluchay Rural District ( Persian: دهستان بکشلوچای) [3] is in the Central District of Urmia County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran. [4] Its capital is the village of Emamzadeh. [5] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Kashtiban. [6]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 22,672 in 6,208 households. [7] There were 28,864 inhabitants in 7,466 households at the following census of 2011. [8] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 34,683 in 8,890 households. The most populous of its 60 villages was Reyhanabad, with 10,536 people. [2]
