Qaleh Now ( Persian: قلعهنو) is a village in, and the capital of Qaleh Now Rural District of Jazink District, Zehak County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. [3]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,189 in 271 households, when it was in Jazink Rural District. [4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,213 people in 295 households. [5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,353 people in 358 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district. [2]
After the census, the village was transferred to the new Qaleh Now Rural District established in the district. [3]
