Nazil ( Persian: نازيل) [a] is a village in Nazil Rural District of Nazil District, Taftan County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran, serving as the capital of the district. [4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 591 in 205 households, when it was in the former Nukabad District of Khash County. [5] The following census in 2011 counted 184 people in 61 households. [6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 419 people in 140 households. [2]
In 2018, Nukabad District was separated from Khash County in the establishment of Taftan County, which was divided into three districts of two rural districts each, with Nukabad as its capital and only city. [4]
