Meymeh ( Persian: ميمه) [3] is a city in, and the capital of, Sarab Meymeh District of Dehloran County, Ilam province, Iran. [4] The city is populated by Kurds. [5]
At the 2006 census, its population was 2,277 in 437 households, when it was in Zarrinabad District. [6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,636 people in 664 households. [7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,913 people in 569 households, [2] by which time parts of the district had been separated in the establishment of Sarab Meymeh District, with Meymeh as its capital. [4]
