on the road as a professional since 2009. Sagan is a noted
cycling sprinter and
Classics specialist , and as such is a prolific winner of individual stages in
stage races as well as winning World and European titles. Sagan has eighteen
Grand Tour stage victories, and is a seven-time winner of the
points classification in the Tour de France , a record.

2010 Paris–Nice , on the third stage.
