Liiva ( Estonian for "Sand") is a subdistrict ( Estonian: asum) in the district of Nõmme, Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It covers an area of 3.25 km2 (1.25 sq mi) [2] and has a population of 1,365 (As of 1 January 2014 [update]), [1] population density is 398.8/km2 (1,032.8/sq mi).
It has a railway station on the Tallinn - Viljandi railway line operated by Elron (rail transit).
Liiva cemetery is situated in Liiva.
